to IBFM
This is the radio station broadcasting music, news and
information around Burnley and Padiham, live from Ivy Bank High
School! We operated under a special licence from The Radio
Authority, and we are on-air now till October 11th.
This is the first
school radio station in East Lancashire to broadcast on FM, with
programmes presented and produced by the pupils of Ivy Bank
We would like to thanks all our advertisers and sponsors for
their support in this radio station, as without them it would
not be possible. Our main station sponsor is HSBC. During our
upcoming broadcast, you will be hearing some of the most famous
voices in Britain on the radio station run by the students. At
the present time, the guest list includes Lorraine Kelly, Timmy
Mallett, Lord Melvyn Bragg, Peter Salmon, Philip Lader and many
many more.
